The Mexican Peso coins are official government restrikes. The 50 pesos has a restrike date of 1947. The obverse design features the two Mexican Volcanoes with Winged Victory in front of them and the reverse design features the Mexican Coat of Arms: an eagle with a serpent on its beak.The metal content of each denomination consists of 21.6-karat gold (.90).
